Pensioner's Card
The Pensioner's Card entitles to purchase with the special discount no more than two same commodity units. For example: sugar - 2 packings, a detergent powder - 2 packs, the condensed milk - 2 cans, etc. The Pensioner's Card functions in all Shopping Centers of the company «Tavria V» where there are the Pensioner's Corners. The system of discounts for pensioners is adjusted by central computer system and in order to receive the discount for products from the shelves of the the Pensioner's Corners it is enough just to show the Pensioner's Card at a checkout counter.
The General Assembly designated 1 October the International Day of Older Persons by resolution 45/106 of 14 December 1990, following up on initiatives such as the Vienna International Plan of Action on Ageing, adopted by the 1982 World Assembly on Ageing and endorsed later that year by the General Assembly.
